Race Details Date Sunday, May 6, 2007 Time 7:30 AM  Registration and race packet pick-up 8:30 AM  Race Begins Race Start/Finish Karakung Drive near Nitre Hall Parking Lot Course 5K Run/Walk starts on Karakung Drive and makes its way through Penfield neighborhoods to take participants through the historic Grange Estate. The course continues through the Grange and back to Karakung Drive via Walnut Place, Manoa, Earlington and Mill Roads. T-Shirts Heritage Festival T-shirts will be given to the first 100 registrants. Entry Fee Adults Pre-Registration online at www.runtheday.com $15 Race Day $20 Under 16 Pre-Registration online at www.runtheday.com $6 Race Day $8 Awards Awards will be given to the first overall male and female finisher. Parking Parking is available in the SEPTA lot on Karakung Drive near the Beechwood Station and on the east end of Karakung Drive near Manoa Road.

In conjunction with the Heritage Festival along Karakung Drive on Sunday, May 6, Haverford Township Historical Society is hosting a 5K race through beautiful and historic Haverford Township.

Run or walk this scenic route which follows the course of the Powder Mill Valley and passes through the historic Grange Estate.

Join us later in the day from 11 AM to 5 PM as we celebrate Haverford Township’s cultural heritage and rich local history at the HTHS Heritage Festival.

Proceeds from the 5K Run (or Walk) Through History will benefit the Haverford Township Historical Society.
